Elevating Mobile App Performance.
Santander Bank is a global financial institution headquartered in Spain. Founded in 1857, it has grown to become one of the largest banks in the world, with a strong presence in Europe and the Americas. With a focus on innovation and customer service, Santander is committed to providing convenient and personalized solutions to meet its customers’ diverse needs.
The Project.
Our task was to enhance the performance of their existing mobile banking application while concurrently elevating the quality of the underlying codebase. This dual objective required a comprehensive approach to the application’s functionality and the intricacies of its code structure.
Our Solution.
Our approach began with a thorough analysis and end-user feedback to assess the app’s performance bottlenecks and user experience challenges and identify critical areas for improvement, ranging from speed and responsiveness to overall usability. Concurrently, our team conducted an in-depth code review to pinpoint inefficiencies, technical debt, and potential vulnerabilities. This involved implementing best practices in mobile app development, optimizing resource utilization, and refactoring code to enhance readability, maintainability, and scalability.
Our team comprehensively rebuilt the application code, employing agile methodologies to drive the process. This enabled us to iterate quickly, respond effectively to evolving requirements, and deliver tangible improvements in various aspects of the application. By breaking down the development process into manageable sprints and fostering continuous collaboration, we achieved notable enhancements in response time and overall performance, resulting in heightened customer satisfaction. Banco Santander obtained the highest ranking of the period in the AppStore.
